I am used to reading multiple chapters for Bible study classes, etc. and being “forced” to just read one chapter and really “chew” on it has really opened my eyes to new interpretation, discoveries, and most of all QUESTIONS!!!!

Last year we took Asbury through the New Testament in 30 days. Some people enjoyed it, others struggled a bit with it. I think I might join you reading the Gospels in 90. It does allow more time to be spent in focus of each chapter. I might use it as part of my devotional time with a modified Lectio Divina.

I have loved The Voice and I think it is my favorite of the newer translations that try to rethink some of the language of scripture. Each time I start a new reading I try to pick a different translation or manner of reading scripture.
