I think it’s a both/and kind of thing. It reminds me of the hymn “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” we look around and realize that something is needed, then we recognize that it needs to begin with us. I am thankful that this post spoke to you. A continued blessed Advent!

Advent, it seems, asks us to look within instead of around. Instead of looking for external signs we are invited to allow our life to become God’s sign of redemption.
